The method
Each step exists because without it, the next one fails. That order is the entire secret of the craft.
Wash without fabric softener to strip the sizing, an inner barrier, and stretched fabric.
Five tracing methods, one for each type of fabric and color. No freehand drawing.
Opaque base, flat color, shadow, highlight, and only at the end, the cartoon outline.
Real drying time, iron-set curing, and the three-wash test on your own work.

What students say
People who had never painted anything and now wear what they made with their own hands.
Student photoIW-RESENA-14:3
This is where the review naming the fear they overcame goes: “I couldn't draw and I finished my first jacket on Sunday.” It's the one that converts best.
Student photoIW-RESENA-24:3
This is where the one answering the technical objection goes: “I washed it three times and it's intact.” Ask for it with a before-and-after photo.
Student photoIW-RESENA-34:3
This is where the one from someone who already painted on paper and discovered the layering order goes. It gives the method authority over free tutorials.
Student photoIW-RESENA-44:3
This is where the one from someone who started getting commissions goes. Don't mention dollar amounts, to avoid tripping Meta's ad policy.
Student photoIW-RESENA-54:3
This is where the one from someone who painted a garment with sentimental value goes: their kid's jacket, jeans they'd stopped wearing.

Questions
Yes, and that's exactly what the course was built for. Module 03 teaches five methods for transferring a design to fabric with no freehand drawing, and the bonus of 100 designs gives you material that's already ready to trace. Module 04 teaches you to build your own character from simple shapes, for whenever you're ready to take that step.
No, not if it's properly cured — and that's a full module of the course. The key is that dry to the touch isn't the same as cured: you need to let a full day pass, heat-set it correctly with an iron, and wait before the first wash. In lesson 7.6 you run your own three-wash test to confirm it on your own work.
Module 00 is designed so you paint your first garment with the bare minimum: paint, fabric medium, two brushes, a piece of cardboard, and a garment you already own. No expensive kits up front. The materials bonus tells you which brands to get wherever you live and at what price, for whenever you want to upgrade your gear.
Best on natural fibers: denim, cotton, and canvas — the fabrics jeans, jackets, t-shirts, and hoodies are made of. Synthetics and water-repellent-treated fabrics can be painted but give worse results; Module 02 teaches you to recognize them before you start.
For life. You pay once and log into the app whenever you want, no subscription. Any lessons or materials added later appear automatically, at no extra cost.
On your own clothes, that's your call, but the course doesn't teach it and we recommend against it if you plan to sell: characters from major studios are trademarked, and there are real cases of artists who received legal claims over it. That's why the bank of 100 designs is entirely original, and Module 04 teaches you to create your own characters — which are also what makes people recognize your work.
Module 09 is dedicated to exactly that: how to price a piece based on surface area and detail level, where to source blank garments, how to photograph them, and what to ask before accepting a commission. What happens after that depends on your work and your market.
As soon as your payment is approved, you'll get an email with access to the app. It opens right from your phone's, tablet's, or computer's browser, nothing to download or install, and you can save it as an icon on your home screen. The app remembers where you left off, so you can pick right back up. If the email doesn't show up, check spam and reach out to us.
Inkwear is an academy dedicated to one single thing: hand-painting on clothing. It's not a general painting course adapted to fabric — it's built from the ground up for denim and cotton, which behave nothing like a painter's canvas.
The logo tells the method's story: a garment with its left half blank and its right half already painted, its border made from a single brushstroke. That's exactly what you learn to do here.
All that's missing is the right order of steps. That's what the course gives you.
